Amirtha means “nectar”
We make beauty the slow way — from gardens, not laboratories. What began as a kitchen table of stone-ground ubtans is now a small studio, still blending every batch by hand.
Beauty should remember its source
Ayurveda has kept Indian skin and hair radiant for centuries — not through more, but through the right herbs, in the right way, at the right time.
Amirtha Herbals is that tradition, practised faithfully. We begin with whole botanicals: saffron picked at dawn, sandalwood ground on stone, oils pressed while still cold. Then we wait — weeks, sometimes months — while the actives steep and the formula earns its place.
- Partner farms — herbs raised on the farms we know by name
- Small batches — never more than our blender can watch over
- No shortcuts — cold-pressed, hand-blended, honestly dated
Three promises, kept daily
Herb-first
Every formula begins in the garden, not on a spreadsheet. The herb decides what it needs — we supply only the essentials.
Slow by design
Low heat and long steeps preserve the actives. Nothing is rushed through for a faster shelf date.
Small-batch
Batches small enough to count on two hands. Each is signed and dated by the blender who made it.
The making of a ritual
Source
Herbs are harvested at their seasonal peak from the farms we work with directly.
Press
Oils are cold-pressed the same day — warmth is the enemy of potency.
Steep & blend
Actives steep for weeks, then are blended by hand into each formula.
Pour & seal
Filled by hand, signed and dated, then sent to your shelf.
Six botanicals, done properly
We use a short list of ingredients — each one chosen for what it does, and none for what it costs.
Saffron — Kesar
Harvested by hand at dawn. Brightens and evens tone, thread by thread.
Sandalwood — Chandan
Stone-ground into a fine ubtan that cools, calms and soothes.
Bhringraj
The “king of herbs” for hair, steeped slowly into cold-pressed oils.
Neem
Purifying and balancing — the gentle guardian of troubled skin.
Amla
The vitamin-C berry for strength at the root and shine along the strand.
Rose
Petals macerated for a gentle, softening base that smells like a garden after rain.
